Itinerary
Your sacred Char Dham Yatra begins with a pickup from Haridwar. Drive through the scenic Himalayan routes via Mussoorie to Barkot. Enjoy beautiful views of lush valleys, rivers, and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the night.
Early morning, drive to Jankichatti and begin the trek to the holy Yamunotri Temple (approximately 6 km one way). Take a sacred dip in Surya Kund and offer prayers at the Yamunotri Temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. After darshan, trek back to Jankichatti and drive to Barkot.
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a beautiful town situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Start early for Gangotri, one of the holiest shrines of the Char Dham Yatra. Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River (where permitted) and seek blessings at the sacred Gangotri Temple. Spend some time exploring the serene surroundings before returning to Uttarkashi.
After breakfast, drive towards Guptkashi via picturesque mountain roads and river valleys. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax before the next day's pilgrimage.
Early morning, drive to Gaurikund and begin the trek to Kedarnath (approximately 16–18 km). Pilgrims may also opt for helicopter or pony services at an additional cost. Reach Kedarnath and visit the ancient Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Attend the morning darshan and experience the spiritual atmosphere of Kedarnath before descending to Gaurikund. Drive back to Guptkashi and relax after the adventurous journey.
After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath. On arrival, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple and take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund before offering prayers to Lord Vishnu.
After morning darshan, visit Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Explore attractions such as Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul, and the Saraswati River. Later, drive to Joshimath.
After breakfast, drive towards Rudraprayag, witnessing the beautiful confluences (Prayags) and scenic Himalayan landscapes along the route. Check into your hotel and relax.
Begin your return journey to Haridwar via Rishikesh. If time permits, visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula (subject to accessibility), and nearby temples before continuing to Haridwar.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be dropped at Haridwar Railway Station or your preferred location, marking the end of your spiritually enriching 12-Day Char Dham Yatra with unforgettable memories.
